Can I use unity 3d as a component of UI in ipad app?
I want to develop an ipad app which has different components like graphs, maps etc. on one screen at the same time I want to show a 3d sphere having revolving text (3d tag cloud). I want to ask is it feasible to do this. I mean using unity 3d or any other 3d environment. For example https://www.lucidchart.com/documents/thumb/4e549f93-2d48-4061-84ab-218c0afc9fe1/0/38136/4e54e5ed-37e4-4cbf-8251-530b0a7f0f68/290
so you want to embed Unity as a plugin in a iOS app, right? Dont think you can, but you might be able to develop a whole Unity app for iOS that does the same as your app.
@BerggeenD$$anonymous$$ It's impossible to make an app with Unity feels naturally (means feels like UI$$anonymous$$it) within iOS. Unlike games, app users expects more consistency.
Of course, you can re-implement whole UI$$anonymous$$it behavior as is, but it's real stupidity.
@Eonil I commented on his question. I believe that if you only need certain parts of the iOS interface, you might be able to do that with PRO edition and self-written plugins to support whatever "call back" you might need to implement it. Ofcause rebuilding UI$$anonymous$$IT would be a akward idea, but if he only needs a few buttons and to be able to slide back and forth - he might be able to pull it off.
As I stated, no its not possible the other way around as Unity Apps are "closed deals" as far as I know. Stupidity? hmm, harsh words. If he needs it, I am not going to call him names for that.
