GameObject Icon not saving

As stated above, my GameObject Icons aren't saving. What I mean is that, whenever I set the little Icons of GameObjects (as seen in the picture) everything works fine for that Unity session, but when I save and exit those Icons reset on the next Unity start (everything else saves properly). Are these Icons meant to only be a one-session feature or am I doing something wrong? I am using the newest Unity version btw.

this should work, it's probably a Bug

I am on 2018.3.0b6 and I don't see this issue - for what it's worth.

Also having this issue on a daily basis using waypoints. I have to reassign them daily and there's quite a few and becomes a pain. I think unity is having a problem saving a large amount. When I initially started, with a handful like 15 GameObjects tops with icons I had no issues but once that gets multiplied the issues happen consistently daily. It is beco$$anonymous$$g far more tedious than need be.
