Make an object rotate from one end only
hey i have a cube gameobject shaped like a rod which is attaced to another object via a fixed joint.now i need to rotate the cube from its other side without effecting the point where it is fixed.i tried using various joint configurations but nothing seems to work .please help.
Can you add a picture of your intended action? I'm not sure I quite understand it. Thanks

Try creating pivot points with empty game objects and attach meshes to them.
On the end that you want TO ROTATE set up an empty gameObject. Then put a cube as a children of this empty gameObject. The empty gameObject becomes a pivot point to his children so if you rotate empty gameObject then the cube on end will be rotated from this point only. Empty gameObject is a children of the rest of the wand.
