Bouncy materials strange behavior
Hi,
I'm trying to make a simple game, with the likes of Pong. I'm using bouncy material on the ball, and it does bounce off the walls and the players as it should. The problem is, if it seems to hit on a certain part of the wall, it bounces off the same way it came, which is very frustrating.
So, if it hit the wall at the angle Alpha, it should exit at 180-Alpha, but it goes backwards and exits on Alpha. This seems to happen only close to the middle of the wall and I'm at a loss why it would be happening.
Walls are not rigidbodies, and the ball is, and here are the images
Update: this always seems to happen towards the negative Y axis, which is downwards. Z is unused.
