recording sound from external input
I am not yet a Unity user. I am trying to figure out if Unity will do what I need to develop educational applications (not games). My application needs to record sound from the mic and line-level input, encode it to Ogg or some other format, and upload it to the Web server. Ideally, the user should be able to select the input and the recording parameters. This has to be supported in Mac OS X and Windows, for analog and USB recording devices and support mobile devices.
Can this be done?
Can Unity do this, or is Unity Pro required?
Gratefully,
Slava
