Is it normal for unity to lag slightly after adding detailed meshes?
It seems that unity lags slightly whenever i add a few objects. By a few i mean all i have is a rock, and some bushes i added with detail paint. Neither are high poly it just seems to happen whenever i add anything.
For example if i press right click to view, there will be a second delay before it kicks in. Same for left clicking in the scene to move something. It doesnt stop me from making the game but it gets kind of annoying when you left click + drag and let go only to realize the object snaps back because of that 1 second lag..
It could be your computer, I don't have any lag when doing something similar, even with high poly.
What are the specs on your computer?
If you are running pro, take a look in the profiler to see what is taking the time. Also you should check the FPS with a script to get an idea of the magnitude of the problem.

It will be your computer most likely, check the profiler for Unity Pro or just downgrade the mesh.
