Random map generation and random spawn points.
Hey peeps.
So, I'm working on a random level generation (C#). I have this set up nice with prefabs placed randomly together instantiated as clones.
My tiles are children of 1 empty game object, which holds the script to generate the level and also tells A* pathfinder script to "scan". After the level is set up I delete the parent of the prefabs, which leaves me with my level in a nice square as it should.
Now I have placed 1 empty game object in each prefab as a child. This empty G.O holds 3 zombies as children.
I am having scripting issues and my pea brain is not working as it should. I want to spawn a random amount of zombies for each spawner(which is the empty GO holding the zombie types). I would like to have them spawn around the GO and for it to also choose a random zombi from the array containing them. No respawns are needed, I also need to scan the map for A* before instantiating the zombie clones.
Is there a specific issue your having trouble with?
Please do not ask for scripts to be written for you as this is not the place to do so.
Please make your question more obvious or your issue more apparent.
