Need help for ignoring FPS layers
Hi, I am trying to make a multiplayer first person game. I have a hand and a tps model.i tag them fps and tps.the problem is, if i set camera to see fps only.i can see mine and OTHER PLAYER HANDS too .is there any way to do this?. Any help is very appreciated.
You're going to have to explain that a little more clearly
From what you said I can gather:
You are making an $$anonymous$$ultiplayer FPS game
You have hands somewhere being rendered by your camera
You have the rest of the game being renderered by another camera
You want to hide the hands from other players but not from your own
Is that correct?
You need to deactivate the cameras the player does not own.
Attach a script to the camera (if there is none) and disable the rendering if the networkview is not yours.
Have a look at this question. This is close to your question and the answer is (I think) exactly what you need.
Try that and tell us if there still are issues.
The cameras which player doesn't own shouldn't exist in the scene already. There should be only one camera that is following the current player.
