Does Vertices count affect FPS when making buildings?
Hi guys, this is my first post here. I was wondering if vertices count affect's FPS because on the building im making i have a lot of vertices that can be dissolved or deleted. Im using Blender V2.7. Not all of my vertices are connected to a face. I currently have 1318 Verts and 231 faces. Im still making my object so it will change. Any tips on optimizing? Thanks!
Vertices can impact performance, but how many you can have without seeing an FPS drop will depend on the platform, the shader, batching, and many other factors. I recommend you run some tests on your target platform (not in the editor) using your target shader. It is pretty easy to write a script that, based on a key press, duplicates an existing building. $$anonymous$$eep pressing until you see a performance drop.

No, because it all depends on your computer, I have a 44 magnum with 200,000 polys and Unity doesn't lag at all, and for optimizing, I recommend that in your objects import file inside of unity, click optimize mesh.
