Android Splash Screen With JAR

I have a unity project that includes a JAR plugin. I noticed when I load the Unity project into my android phone that before the Unity3d splash screen plays I see another "android" splash screen. The Android splash screen looks like a "blank layout" with the unity icon and (android) project name at the top and a long blank canvas below it. I do not see this in my other android projects. Again, it is showing the unity logo and project title not that of the jar.

Could the Jar plugin be pushing its own layout view on-top of Unity's ? If so how can I disable it ? I have already deleted all layouts and activities in the jar (its only a single static class and the config files now).
