3D Text is blocking mouse click on object behind
I have an Sphere with a 3D Text object as a child. The text is directly over the sphere. The spheres have a function OnMouseDown() to destroy themselves however the 3D Text blocks the mouse clicks. The text doesn't have a collider and just has the mesh renderer and text mesh components.
are you sure it's the 3d text that blocks it? Can you perhaps provided an image depicting your problem?

I don't know if the OnMouseDown() function looks for colliders, but I recomend you to use Raycasts instead! If you do that, you should set the layer for the text to "Ignore Raycast". That will work fine!
Good luck!
