2D rigidbody makes my character slowly rise
When I put a 2d rigidbody on my character and then click play my character slowly floats up. I have made the gravity higher and it worked but when I tried to jump the jumping was really choppy. If someone could help much would be appreciated.

Go to your Animator component and make sure "Apply Root Motion" is not selected. I had the same problem and it fixed my issue right up.
Thank you SO $$anonymous$$UCH! I just updated to unity 5 and couldn't figure out what was wrong with my project.
