GuiTexture Blurred after Build for website
I have created a simple background for our opening welcome menu which is displayed as a GUITexture. It looks pretty crisp in Unity during testing but after building and then testing in a browser (Firefox) it is blurred and pixely. I created the image using Pixelmator using screenshots from the game and a separately created company logo. The GUIText displayed over the white space on the image displays as well as I can get any text to, and this is several factors sharper than the image at the background. I have tried both .png and tga without any joy.
I have read something about Alpha channels but am not sure what I need to do to get this image looking nice and clear.
I would be grateful for some help. Thanks.
Is this an import settings issue? Select your image in Project view. In the Import Settings: set "Texture Type" to "Advanced"; turn off "Generate $$anonymous$$ip $$anonymous$$aps"; and under "Format" set it to "RGB 24 bit" or if you have transparency set it to "RGBA 32 bit". These may not be the settings you want for your released game, but they are a starting point to help solve the problem. If your images are not blurred with these settings, then you know you have a graphics import issue.
Thank you Robertobu, that worked perfectly and fixed the issue!
$$anonymous$$uch appreciated.
