Unity setup 4.3.4 error " Installer integrity check has failed"
I am running Windows 8 64 bit but all the programs I have run as 32 bit. I have had no problems in the past installing unity but when I tried to update it gave me that error after downloading, and running it. I have tried the /NCRC tick with CMD and it doesn't work. I have tried everything I could find on the Unity forums and microsoft. I am so done with windows. I'm just gonna move to linux, but for now I need this to work. Any suggestions?
I have the same problem, but it doesn't work in either IE or chrome
I have a seriously hard time believing this is a Unity problem. $$anonymous$$ore likely you have some dodgy stuff hooking your browser. Run $$anonymous$$alwareBytes or something like that.
I have had the exact sam problem, but I tried both chrome and IE without success, I even downloaded Opera just to try their downloader!! (that didn't work either). Then I noticed in IE that the download is only paused for som mysterious reason at 25% and I can actually press resume. This however only let me download it to 41% (usually, seems ther is some randomness to when the download gets corrupted).
Finally, I managed to download it in the most insane way imagnenable: after continuing at 25% I also paused and stopped it EVERY 5%, I have no idea why this worked, but it seams the download process can not handle to be "left alone" for to long time, it corrupts itself.
Anyway, it is INSANE Unity hasn't fixed this yet, so many people seems to have this problem, it's obviously not browser-specific and its not like people are going to switch operating system to be able to download Unity stuff

Ooops! I figured out the problem. To anyone else who might have this problem, try downloading it with a different browser. I did it originally with google chrome, but then I tried it with internet explorer and it worked like a charm!
I doubt chrome was your issue - you just had a corrupt download the first time - downloading it again with chrome would/should have worked equally as well.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't. I tried it multiple times on chrome and then once on IE, and then "all of a sudden" it started working.
It even worked for me.. I don't know how. I downloaded from IE and it amazingly got installed successfully.
I confirm too. Download with chrome and firefox and it didnt work. Downloading with IE9 worked. Weird but thats the way to make it work people.
I have same problem with Firefox, will try I$$anonymous$$ Hate to say, but I think I'm getting to like IE better on the new Win8.1
