How to generate 12 bit grayscale image
Hello, Can anyone guide me on how to generate 12 bit grayscale image? All I could see in Texture2D format is 8bits.

Is there any way I can generate 12 bit image? Is 16 bit supported?
check out the list here. 16 bit is supported as R16 and RHalf texture format, which can be used as such in a shader. I don't know what you're inventing is though:
