Lightmaping Tool Error.

Hi! I'm testing the External Lightmapping tool and get this error(on the stage of creating of a lightmap): "uv packing can't be done efficiently, consider a different lightmap arrangment". How can I consider a different lightmap arrangment if Unity does it for me automatically?

Additional information that may help: the model consists of lots of objects and has high polygonage.

So can it be helped?-)

Thanks in advance.

You could wait for Unity 3. It will have the Beast Lightmapping Engine integrated, so you won't need the External Lightmapping Tool anymore (I think).

I'm not positive but I believe that features like Beast and Umbra will only be available in Pro licenses.

It means that your model most likely has overlapping UV's. Try remapping the mesh (flatten mapping, or unfold) and avoid overlapping UV's

Also you can change the lightmap size to 2048x2048
