How to create a roof?

Question

I want to create a roof by script, The room is always in a different sizes and sometimes has curves in it and everything, and i want the roof to be like a lid.

example: I have a room with no roof, and the room looks like the letter "O" how do i create a roof for that room, with script..?

I do not have the slightest idea on how to do this
