I can't convert .Blend to .FBX . Help!
I made a simple handgun model in Blender. When i tried to import it to unity, it was in, but i got a useless asset that has no icon and you cant put it in the scene, just and an error saying cannot convert the .blend file to FBX file. Am I doing something wrong? Help!

This isn't a unity question exactly... but you need to export your Blender project AS an .fbx
Edit : in Blender File -> Export -> Autodesk FBX

If you are using Blender 2.5+ the importer that ships with Unity is wrong, this forum Blender 2.5 Support has an updated one (and replaces a file in the Unity folder). This is what I use for saving/importing .blend files directly in the Assets folder (Blender 2.61, Unity 3.4.2f)
