Can no longer see comments?
Not sure what's going on here, but as of the past few days I am no longer able to see any comments. Not on my questions/answers, nor on anyone else's. This doesn't seem to be a browser issue either as the same issue occurs no matter what browser I use. Am I missing something or is this happening for everybody? Has there been a UI change? How should I go about responding to or adding comments?
Thanks.
Yup, same here, I've been having this issue for the past few days as well.
To make things even more strange... I can see these comments, and other comments made in the past couple days, but no comments from earlier than that.
Did UA lose everyone's comments at some point? Not 100% sure but I thought that UA worked off the same platform as StackExchange/Overflow, and I can see old comments there fine...
I suspect the comments are still in the database, somewhere, because if I do a search for .. whatever, I can see snippets of the old comments in the search results, but not when I open up the question. Some much valuable info in comments- this is really bad. Hopefully a quick fix.
There's a recurring thread on Forums about shutting down Unity Answers and moving all new traffic over there. I've shared my opinion that as UA breaks down more and more, it will happen. We lost the $$anonymous$$od community, then lost blank lines between paragraphs. This might be the last straw. Soon we'll have people double-posting "Thank You" comments.
And, yes, I can see comments here, but not on older posts.
I can see comments here but not in many other places including my own comments I've made recently.

Hey all,
Apologies for the delay in responding.
There is indeed an issue ongoing with the third party provider that hosts this. They are working on fixing this as it's affected every single question posted here.
I can do a temporary fix myself on any threads you folks need to see so please reply to this message with any so I can do this for you.
I'll post any updates once I get them in the forum announcement thread I have set up: https://forum.unity.com/threads/technical-problem-unity-answers.711803/
Hi $$anonymous$$aru, can you please give us an update on the progress, by the third party?

Just chatted with Unity Customer Service about this. Rather than put the whole chat here.. these are the important lines from the customer service rep :
" A workaround for you at this moment is to delete the
at the end of the comment and save it, and it will appear again. ... we are not sure if you need to do in all your comments. " (I have not tested this.)
"Its a weird issue that the team is still investigating."
"The Devs are currently monitoring the issue. They will be able to share the solution once they found it."
I have a "case number" and will update here when I get any news on it.

I did a bit of looking and found that only older comments, ones not posted in the last few weeks are the ones which are not showing up.

The problem seems to only affect spaces META and Moderators, not Default space or even HelpRoom. Those are just fine (this is from looking back and forth at only handful of Q's). [edit] OK, i'm wrong. I just saw a Q in default where every "old" comment (3 months or more) has no contents, but a new comment is perfectly visible. One answer even has 2 comments: 1 not working, the other working.
