How animation sync with particle effects?
Hi, I am making a 3rd person slashing game and I planning to add effects to the slashing animation. Here is the example that I would like to make: https://youtu.be/9jn90lvrtFc?t=40 Or another similar gameplay that some of you might know is Honkai Impart 3 and also many others game actually.
But I have no idea how to sync the particles effects with the animation sequence. If I stop on the second slash, the particle effects should be stop too but it still make it through the whole particle effect sequence. And if I change my attack direction on the second slash, the particles effects still continue move on to the initial direction. I had a little bit research on the timeline features, but most of the time it just use as the particles effect presentation but not in an actual game. Any help or inspiration or tutorial link is very appreciated.
