iTween moving all children the same way the parent object does

I have an empty GameObject with several GuiTextures as children. I've attached an iTweenEvent with a MoveTo EventType to the empty GameObject. Basically iTween does what I want it to do: move the gameObject and all its children. But I want all children to be moved along the same path, much the same way as if I would just change the coordinates of the gameObject manually. But what iTweens seems to be doing is changeing all the positions of the children independently which leads to different paths. Is there a way to prevent this?

Sorry I just noticed that it actually does move all the children in the correct way. But I also apply scaling at the same time and this messes things up. Any way to prevent that?
