Unity v4.1.5 Crashes When Using Resources.Load
I'm using Resources.Load to load some resources (obviously) including xml files, textures and gameobjects, it was working fine yesterday, then I try again today and it just crashes every time and the error report screen comes up. This happens both when running the game and also in a custom editor window I made to load and edit xmls.
I'm using unity 4.1.5, any help would be appreciated.
I'm having the same issue! I'm calling DestroyImmediate on a bunch of objects, followed by a Resources.UnloadUnusedAssets, followed by a series of Resource.Load calls in succession. This consistently causes a crash, and destroys my Library, requiring me to delete the Library, and regenerate it with an editor restart.
What could be causing this? How can I unload/load the resources I need properly?
