Assign Physics Material to Terrain Collider.
Hello, this is my first post on here and I'd like some response as to what I need to do to add a physics material to my terrain collider.
The reason I want to do this is because I am making a racing game where driving off-road will slow you down, I planned to do this by using a physics material and increase the friction to simulate a sand material which slows you down.
I hope I'm clear with my question and if this is not a good solution, please provide a solution with an equivalent result.
I Think one solution is to cast a raycast below the car that collides with the terrain , then get the Splat Texture of that collision point and if it's sand simply slow down your car.
