Exporting FBX from Autodesk Maya 2013
I have Maya 2013 but I didn't figured out how to export it to FBX. I noticed that you need a plugin (Click me) to have the "FBX Export" option in the Export section. But even with a successful installation of that plugin, there is still no option to export as FBX. Somebody have an idea? thanks!

Go to your plug-in manager window in Maya and make sure that fbxmaya.ml is loaded and set to load on startup.

After you have the plugin installed, you need to restart Maya. Open your scene, go to File > Export All...
In this dialog, you can change type on the very bottom. Here's a picture:
You can find the latest FBX plug-ins here:

Just select the one that fits your Maya installation.
