Textures show strange distortions
I've modeled a few objects in blender..
My level platform elements are using 1024 x 1024 Textures, which look fine.
Now i've ma a small floating platform, with a 512 x 512 Texture and it shows strange distortions?
Take a look at the Screenshot.
Is 512x512 too small for textures?
The Texture looks great in the Windows Image Viewer... but looks distorted in the unity texture preview, as well as on the object...
I've found out, that i have to set the Format to "TrueColor" ins$$anonymous$$d of "compressed", than the textures look normal...
Does this have an impact on mobile performance?
What would i have to do that compressed looks normal? "Compressed" does look normal on the first objects i've built in blender?
Please advise...
