Cinemachine FreeLook - Explicitly setting orbit rotation
I am using Cinemachine's FreeLook camera to follow and orbit around the avatar. This works out quite nice, but I am having trouble understanding how to explicitly set the orbital rotation. The documentation doesn't seem to mention anything like this. I know I can set the X axis's "input axis value", but setting its "value" doesn't seem to do anything.
For example, I would want the ability to force the camera to orbit 90 degres around its target instantly. Doing this via "input axis value" is unpredictable.
See the image for my current settings.
I noticed that if you change the Binding $$anonymous$$ode to World, then setting X Axis Value does work as you'd expect. Downside is the free look camera doesn't behave the same way it does with Simple Follow With World Up, which is a bummer. I'm also looking for a solution to this.

The cinemachine freelook component works like a normal freelook camera. In the axis control you have to set the input to move the camera. it says input axis name and by default is Mouse x or Mouse y. There you have to write the input name, like the arrows or make a new input in the input settings. i dont know if you can edit the input in scripts, but you can try. Good luck!
