Is Particle.axisOfRotation editable in particle system editor?
The latest release v4.2.0 of Unity finally exposed a new property "axisOfRotation" of ParticleSystem.Particle, which I wait for a long time, so that I can fix the rotation problem of my particle systems. But I found it seems the property can only be modified in script. And because of the design nature of Shuriken, I cannot set the axis of rotation of particles emitted by some particle system before it emits. It seems the only way I can modify the axis is to get particles with GetParticles() then modify and set them back to the particle system.
I would like to know is there easier and more efficient way to achieve what I want?
