Unity for classroom - remove login option?
I would really like to use Personal Edition to teach C#, but would like to remove the Login option for my 8th graders. Is there a way around this?

I don't know how you can remove the Login, but if you want to teach C# I would recommend using Microsoft Visual Studio instead of Unity.
Same issue with VS Express 2013 really. Not that I don't think console or form program$$anonymous$$g is super exciting, but Unity is my first choice to get kids excited about it. Easy cause & effect with bitchen visuals.
I had good results using VS-Forms for Intro to C# (up through arrays) then Unity later. You can make 2D games with forms: buttons, colors, lifebars, movement, sounds. $$anonymous$$ore than enough to get the thrill of "I made that."
If you start with Unity, there's a surprising amount to cover.
But then I've never heard of a login. VS-express was just download and go (and redownload a month later for the students who forgot to register.)
