It's kind of hard to understand your question, but it sounds like you are having issues with activating it through the normal internet activation. What you could do is launch Unity and do it the manual activation. This is a pretty good solution if the browser doesn't notify Unity that the activation went through.
To be clear, the browser doesn't notify the Unity software. The unity activation dialog is waiting for the token/key/guid/uuid/some unique value to be activated and bound. Its waiting on the server to update this association.

You may need to clear your existing Licensing files. These can cause the Editor to hang upon Reactivation.
Give the steps below a try, and let me know how you get on!
Uninstall Unity
Delete this file:
WinXP/Vista: C:/Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Pace Anti-Piracy/License Files
Win7: C:/ProgramData/PACE Anti-Piracy/License Files
Mac: HD/Library/Application Support/PACE Anti-Piracy/License Files
Restart
Download Unity again from the website, since your original install may be corrupt. http://unity3d.com/unity/download
Reinstall and test
