Use Legacy animation in Mecanim
Hi,
Is it possible to use legacy animations in Mecanim?
I have some models set a legacy and I have some legacy animations, I changed them all to humanoid but the animations are slightly messed up, one holds an object and all looks fine when run and set to legacy but when set to humanoid the object is out of the hands.
The problem is the original files are 3DMax and I don't have 3DMax to re-import the animations for mecanim, so is there anything I can do to use them with mecanim, or is there some lovely person out there who could covert them for me to use with mecanim .. :)

alucardj, your a star, I'd done all that, well I thought I had, I missed force T pose, followed all the instructions in the video and all works fine now, please convert your comment to an answer so I may accept it.
Thank you.
No worries, glad it helped (and the video is quite funny!)
