Newly Created Animations not Playing with Mecanim
So I have a very weird problem. I have an AK47 with a bunch of animations working through Mecanim. I have an Idle, Running, and the animation that I am currently trying to get working is the shooting animation. So when the gun is shooting the parameter AK47GunShot becomes true and the AK47GunShot part of the mecanim will turn on. That all works good. I have done many test and that part works fine. The problem I am having is when I create my animation and put it in the AK47GunShot part of the Mecanim it doesn't work. When I hit play and shoot the Mecanim says the animation is playing (the little blue bar under it is moving) but the animation is not playing in the game. Then I go into the inspector to see the animation and I hit play and nothing happens. Nothing is happening when I play the animation in the inspector. Here is a picture of my inspector.
After a few tests I tried putting in an animation that I have already created and already works successfully in other parts of the mecanim. I put the Arms Idle animation where the AK47GunShot is and that animation played perfectly.
I have no idea how to fix this problem. One flaw that I could think of is that the animation is very small and moves very quickly but that should not be the case.
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this problem please respond to this post.
