OnPreCull and OnPreRender in 4.5
Hi all
In Unity 4.2 you could trick Unity into using low LOD shadow models by assigning a lodBias in OnPreRender and restoring the original value in OnPreCull. This is a huge boost to framerate.
We just updated to Unity 4.5 and this technique no longer works.
Does anyone have a method in Unity 4.5 to set low LODs in the shadow pass?
