Network.Instantiated objects not loading correctly for new players if the Client which created it disconnects.
Hi, I'm creating a Network game whereby you can join and leave the Server as you wish.
I want all the objects that have been spawned by other players to stay in the Buffer for when new players join. But I am having an issue with this.
When new players join, any objects created by players that are in the game at the time are created just fine.
Any objects created by players which have now Disconnected, are invisible to the New Players.
However, the Hierarchy for the gameObject does get created, so the Object is technically there. It's just that the Mesh of the object does not get created for the New Players, and therefore is invisible.
Has anyone encountered this before or have any ideas how I might be able to fix this at all?
Thank you, Sam
Info that might be useful:
I'm creating the objects on the Client using Network.Instantiate
I don't have any OnPlayerDisconnected( ) server code, apart from a debug message to see when someone does disconnect. So all the Network.Instatiates and other buffers should stay there.
