Only 3 steps:
A. write a login/password gui
It is up to you.
B. write a web server that connect to mariadb (mysql oracle sucks!) and check for authorization
Search in the web for "how to make a login php", the file that receive the form post is what you are looking for. You only need to change to write in response "yes" or "no" instead a redirect.
C. write a script that take the gui login and password, and connect into the server
Search in the web for "unity3d post form", here you will learn how to send the login and password into the server and parser the response.
Like Kiloblargh said, If you have no magic, there is a lot of work and techonologies to learn. Even that you can make a dirt one in few hours if you know where to look. An robust and security solution is far beyond for this.
