Is it necessary to create an Array() to show high scores in PlayerPref?
This is for Android. I'm trying to show the high score in my first scene so that if the player returns to play the game the next day the high score is still displayed(saved). I'm not sure how to go about doing this. I currently have a score script that works great(below) but not sure if I'm suppose to create an Array() or if there is a better way to display the high score in PlayerPrefs. Is it necessary to create an Array() to show high scores in PlayerPref or is there a better approach? Thanx
var r : float = 1;
var g : float = 0;
var b : float = 0;
var a : float = 1;
static var Score : int = 0;
function Start(){
Score+=100;
guiText.text = "Score: "+Score;
var color : Color = Color (r, g, b, a);
// Change the material to display green text.
guiText.material.color = color;
}
function AddPoints() {
Score+=100;
guiText.text = "Score: "+Score;
}
function Awake() {
Score = 0;
}
function Reset(){
Score = 1400;
}

To keep highs ores, PlayerPrefs is a good approach.
To store multiple high scores, you cannot store arrays in PlayerPrefs, so just use multiple keys (score1 to score10).
Give it a try, you'll see it's pretty straightforward.
