Why is my GPU render time unexpectedly high with SkinnedMeshRenderers on screen?
I've been working on figuring out this issue for a while, but I'm using the HDRP and for some reason I can't figure out what's causing the render time to spike like this. I have a character that's around 80k tris and doesn't have any animations playing and while just having 10 placed in the scene it increases the draw time significantly. I've looked around in the profiler and have found the difference when the characters are on and off screen (the dip is looking away from the characters). Fixing this performance issue is critical for my project so I'm wondering if anyone knows what I should be looking in to as this one has really stumped me.
My system is an i5-9600k and a GTX 1070Ti so I don't believe it's my hardware.
