Rpg Food/Survival script Need help!!

Im creating a medieval game where you protect you village etc however i really need script for food i will explain it better , you need to bring food back to your village and if they don't get enough food the game will end like a some gui will come up and say "The Village died" and then it will take you back to the menu.I kind of have an idea some parts of it but i don't know how to put it all together! If anyone could please help that would be excellent. Thanks loads
