Strange Glitch Whenever I First Open Unity
Hi,
For some reason, every time I first open unity, I get a weird glitch when I first press play. I swipe over my "player" game object and move it to another game object to pick it up by using a FixedJoint. It has no trouble picking it up. The thing is, when I press the space bar, the player object is supposed to drop the other object off by lowering it down to a target position. Instead of lowering it down, it looks like the fixedjoint just gets broken and the object floats to the ground without the company of the player object.
This only happens when I first open Unity, if I stop the game and retry without shutting unity down, the problem isn't there. I have been trying to see something that I could have mucked up in my code, but everything seems to be running smooth and it doesn't make sense that it could be code if I have no troubles when I stop and start again without shutting Unity down, does it?
Does anybody have an idea of what could be happening?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Do You Wait a $$anonymous$$ute or two before you open up unity because if you dont you can wait for a $$anonymous$$ute and it will probably work properly
I waited for 5 $$anonymous$$utes and it still reacted the same on the first try, but again, it always works after I stop and try playing again without closing the engine.
