Parts of imported blender object are misplaced (when starting game)
I have imported a camera from Blender to unity via FBX. Most of the children of my main Object were fine, but some of them were misplaced to (i am guessing) the center of my main object. I dont know why. So I re-placed them by myself to the right spots. All these objects have imported animations with them. In the game preview all objects are shown correctly but when i start the game (or an animation, i cant tell) all of the previous mentioned objects snap back to center of my main object. Only when their animaton is playing are the objects at their correct place.
I am very frustrated by that, how could i solve that? By maybe locking the position of the objects or their origin?
Please help me, thanks!
Are you by any chance, changing the scale of the Object in Unity during runtime ?
I had a similar issue with a rigged character model, where the limbs would all snap towards the models center / old scale positions, if I would change the scale of the model after the game has been started (though it would work fine if you do it before running the game)
Though in my case it was for a Ragdol, meaning that the bones had colliders and were connected to each other with some joints
