How to install Unity 4 on OSX after installing 5
Hi, I very rarely use macs. But I need to test my plugin asset on OSX in Unity 4 and 5 32 bit and 64 bit. I had unity 4.6 installed on the mac. I downloaded and installed unity 5 on it while I was doing other stuff. Now unity 4 is gone. What happened?
You installed on the same default location so it overwrote it. Try to install it in a different location so the two application remain.

This has been answered already http://answers.unity3d.com/questions/862471/is-it-possible-to-have-both-unity-4-and-5-on-mac-o.html On a mac you have to install one, then rename its install folder, the install the other. You cant choose an install path in macs because they are terrible.

You can install several versions of Unity if you choose a different install location. Your Unity 5 installer overwrote your previous version. Change the install location in your installer. For example: "C:/Program Files/Unity 4.6" and "C:/Program Files/Unity 5"
