OTA download limits on mobile platforms
So, this is not a directly Unity-related question, but I hope you'll forgive me.
When creating mobile apps/games for iOS, Apple restricts over-the-air downloads from the app store to files that are smaller than 50MB (formerly 20MB). Meaning that if your app/game is bigger than 50MB, the user is required to connect to a WiFi to download it.
My questions are:
Is there a similar limit for Android?
Does this limit also apply to in-app downloads?
If not, do you know of any size limit to in-app download on the two platforms?
I've been looking, but could not find a definitive up-to-date answer. I figured you might have experience with this and could maybe point me to a documentation.
Thank you!
