Tweaking a Walk Cycle
Hi all,
So here's the problem I have: I have a custom humanoid figure to which I've added a motion-captured walk cycle. It works fine, except that, as the arms swing they are too close to the body, so the hands hit and pass through the hips. I'd like feedback on what you think is the best strategy for correcting the arm orientation during the walk cycle...
Using IK?
Using some sort of collider?
Blending my walk cycle with another animation where the arms are clear of the body?
Editing the actual walk animation?
Let me know what you all think... If it's relevant, the anim is the high-heels walk cycle is from Rokoko motion library, but I have the same problem with more generic walk cycles from Raw Mocap Library.
Thanks ahead!
Dave
