Directional Light Sun Sprite Reflecting Incorrectly in Translucent Shader (Shader Forge)
Hello,
I am having an issue with my Directional Light's Sun Sprite reflecting obnoxiously in the Glass Shader used in my simple ArchViz scene (named "Infinity"). The Sun disc/sprite should not be reflecting on the glass in this way.
I have zipped and uploaded the entire project to Dropbox to help with diagnostics. The file size is very small (27.79MB).
The issue occurs when Opacity/Translucency is used on a Forward rendered shader. It does not occur on Deferred shaders, and it does not occur on Forward shaders until Opacity is used in the shader. The issue persists regardless of whether my camera uses a Deferred or Forward rendering path.
Strangely, when I set the Microsurface value of my Glass to 1 instead of 0.98, the issue disappears?
Here's another wider image of the scene demonstrating how the sun interacts with the environment (i.e. it wouldn't realistically reflect in this way -- so I'm not sure why it's reflecting in the glass.)
Any guidance on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)
Have looked into this further and still haven't managed to find a solution.
