Editor: Is it possible to move a component of a Prefab Gameobject Child to it's parent??
I have a prefab that has several children. However, in order to be compatible with another script, I need the prefab to hold the collision boundaries.
Obviously, there are two ways to fix this: Rewrite the script to find the collision in the child, or completely recreate the prefab from scratch.
I would love it if instead, I could just move drag a component from a child prefab up to the parent prefab. Am I missing a GUI feature that lets me do this?
Thanks!

Drag the prefab into the scene, make whatever changes you need (select "continue" when it informs you about breaking the prefab connection), then do "apply changes to prefab".
In Unity iPhone, I found the feature Eric mentions under GameObject-> Apply Changed to Prefab. I did not know that existed!
