How do i add a texture to a imported blender object?
when i import an object from blender and try to add a texture to it, it just shows the basic texture color and not the actual texture. please help.

I use the same thing, first, most times you will need a UV map pretty much meaning, you need to texture it from the UV map, if you have that done, simply import the .png image, and move it to your file (if its say a cube and circle in 1 model, not grouped, click open the model in the herchyer I believe its spelled) just move it to that object, and it'll be textured.

With your imported model will will find a folder called materials, created by Unity Importer. There you'll find all your model's materials an can set the textures for it.
