Is there a way to swap terrain heightmaps in game?
I've got this project that I'm working on at the moment that requires the terrain to change. At the moment I've got two terrains sitting on top of each other and just turning them off and on as is required, but it seems a little inefficient, given that I still have heaps of other elements to add in as well. I'm a modeller and have no clue about programming at all. Is there a way to have the one terrain and just change the heightmaps? I can do this in the editor easy enough, but I was just wondering how to do it in game/real-time.

I don't see any relevant script-free tools on the Asset Store, so I think your only option is to get a simple script written. You might be able to find someone to do it for a reasonable cost at http://forum.unity3d.com/forums/49-Commercial-Job-Offering. It should take under 1 hour, so entertain bids accordingly.
Thanks for that. Yeah I got someone to code it for me and it seems to be working just as I need it to be. Cheers,
