shafts of light in fog?
are there thechniques for making shafts of light across fog in unity? first time i saw this was in FEAR version 1 in about 2006, i think it's an awesome 3d ambience thing i dount know why we dont see more of it!

This is a pro asset only.
Another cheap way of doing this is making a cilinder-like object, and apply a transparent/yellow material on it.

I recently made a lightshaft system on the assetstore wich does not require unity pro, you could set a meshplane in the shape of the fog and cast downwards to create a similar effect.

This is really amazing, i see that it is free, but does it also count for commercial projects?
Hi, I've been using Light Shafts.cs and it's amazing. The shafts are rendering in front of my Sprite Characters tho. How can I fix this?
