How Important are uv textures?
Hi Guys
Im new here and am having a lot of fun with Unity. i have done a few tutorials and am confidant enough to start my own personal project.
My question is about importing models from blender to unity. I can model but i suck at texture painting...this is no problem as my project will be very simple.
Now to the actual question, I use Blenders internal materials to add and assign diffuse colours to my model. no uv mapping, no texture painting.
Is this method ok? will i run into any graphical issues by just assigning materials?
thanks in advance.

No, it won't be a problem. Since as you said your game is simple enough to disregard UV textures, you don't need them. Unity won't care either.
All right then, I thought it's kind of asking "Will Unity work without UV maps?" So I published it.
