A* pathfinding Project add new nodes and having have connections.
below is code in which I am adding nodes to a graph and trying to update a portion of the graph. However it seems the connectivity between the nodes does not actually get updated. Any help?

Have you checked the APP forum? I'm sure you'll have more luck yith your problem there.
if you where to have problems with your own pathfinding code you could post and we could help. but since you are using third party we cant see the source code. if you are interested in learning/developing a custom A* algorithym its a good learning experience for any game developer and I would help!
