Is Unity applying effects to my audio files by default?
I'm not using any of Unity's audio features aside from simply stopping and playing files. For some reason, it seems like the engine applying limiter and filter effects to certain files but not others. If I listen to the raw files, they sound perfect, but while playing the game they sound either quieter or have had their quality changed. Any advice or knowledge to share about this?
Are you using the Audiosource as 2D or 3D?
If you're dealing with 3D audio, there will be position and volume changes depending on where it is in the scene compared to your Listener
